The Medinah Park District is always looking for qualified, enthusiastic individuals for a variety of part-time and seasonal positions. Applications for part-time employment are accepted year round. Part-time evening and weekend Building Supervisors
The Park District is always accepting applications for year round part-time building supervisor positions. Approximately 8-12 hours per week. Work involves Connolly Recreation Center facility supervision, front desk/registration duties, light custodial and rental set up/take down responsibilities, and District special event work. Must be 16 years or older. Positions are available until filled. Preschool Teacher Assistant
Part-time (Monday-Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.)
The Preschool Teacher Assistant supports the lead teacher in providing a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role assists in implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities and lesson plans.
- Assist with classroom setup and clean-up, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean, orderly space.
- Help guide children’s behavior in a positive and respectful manner.
- Provide individual and group support to meet the developmental needs of children.
- Observe and document children’s progress and behavior to share with the teacher and parents.
- Help prepare learning materials and visual aids.
- Support inclusion of children with special needs in classroom activities.
